Cathleen Windham got her taste for art in 2005 during a “starter” plein air painting workshop in Nashville. She continued her painting skills until, in 2018, she relocated to Denver CO to paint the west.

Her painting has taken her from the coast of the Carolinas, to the Tetons and as far afield as the wine vineyards in Italy, and although enjoys working in her Colorado studio, most of her work is done in plein air, directly from life.

Cathleen has studied under some renowned painters like Anne Blair Brown, Elio Camacho, Ken Kewley, Chuck Marshall, Larry Moore, and Dawn Whitelaw and her work is featured in many private collections across the U.S.

She is currently growing her teaching practice for new painters, generously sharing what she’s learnt over the years, whilst increasing her impressive stable of collectors worldwide.
