Rebecca M. Fullerton started her artistic career at a young age, selling her first works as a teenager. She later earned a Bachelor’s degree in Studio Art and Art History from Hartwick College, and a Master’s in Museum Studies from the Harvard Extension School. She then embarked on a career as Archivist for the Appalachian Mountain Club (AMC) and as a landscape painter in one of the most beautiful parts of New England.
Rebecca has a passion for the forests and mountains of the Northeast, which she paints in her studio and en plein air. Time spent in nature informs her painting process.
She specializes in landscapes, capturing the beauty of the White Mountains where she likes to hike, taking in the dramatic scenery of the wilderness, sketching, painting and taking photographs to create works in both oil and watercolor. She strives to recreate on canvas the unique and fragile beauty of places that deserve conservation.
Rebecca has exhibited extensively both in solo shows and regional group shows. Her work is featured in private collections across the United States and was the winner of the ACA Awards 2022.
